Global Fund’s 2026 Results Report Highlights “Seismic Year” of Unprecedented Risks to Hard-Won Gains in the Fights Against HIV, TB, and Malaria

Our reading guide provides more depth in numbers, messages, and context. The warning in its key messages couldn’t be clearer: “an abrupt and far-reaching cuts in international funding disrupted critical lifesaving services and put hard-won progress against HIV, TB, and malaria at risk”.

The report paints a picture of an unequal impact of the cuts; some countries faced limited disruption and are highlighted as examples of resilience while others have seen significant impact.

For GFAN members, the report’s scope will be familiar: the results achieved collectively through all international and domestic funding channels in countries where the Global Fund supports. So will the results captured: annual volume of services delivered by the Partnership, and an estimation of the scale of the Partnership’s historical impact since 2002.
