The 2026 GFAN Global Strategy Meeting Report
The 2026 Global Fund Advocates Network (GFAN) Global Strategy Meeting took place 3–5 March in Nairobi, Kenya. Nearly 90 people attended all or part of the meeting either in-person or virtually. Most participants were from the civil society sector and were either members of GFAN as individuals or as representatives of a member organization. Other attendees included representatives from the Secretariat of the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (Global Fund) and technical, advocacy and funding partners and institutions including the Stop TB Partnership and the Gates Foundation.
The meeting had several objectives, all linked to GFAN’s overarching goal of increased and sustained funding for communities and other civil society groups in HIV, TB and malaria responses in countries receiving Global Fund financing. Read on to know more!
